Trip Description.

Enjoy private guided tour from Nairobi, explore the Lake Nakuru, Hell's Gate and Lake Naivasha, spot animals on morning and afternoon game drives, and see birds and hippos . Hell's Gate National Park is known as the only park where you can drive, walk and do some cycling  within the Park then spice up your excursion with a boat ride in Lake Naivasha. This is a private tour for a minimum of 2 people.

Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park.  

You will be met at your Nairobi city hotel by our safari driver guide who will drive northwest to Lake Nakuru. There will be a short stop at a viewing point to have a look at the Great Rift Valley from an elevated position. Your journey will continue to Lake Nakuru, arriving in time for a pre-lunch game drive. Lake Nakuru National Park is home to Giraffes, Waterbucks, Black and White Rhinos, Buffalo, Lions and Leopards, among other wildlife. On the shores of the lake there are thousands of Flamingos who feed on the algae. Lunch will be at the Lake Nakuru Lodge, Sarova Lion Hill Lodge or similar (own expense). There will be an afternoon game drive around Lake Nakuru and the forest nearby. Accommodation Fishermans Camp /Lanet Matfam Nakuru/Similar

Day 2: Hell’s Gate & Lake Naivasha .

Arrive at the gate of Hell's Gate around mid morning, start biking tour for 2 hours within hell's gate, some people will opt to drive which is also allowed.  Animals seen here include Bushbucks, Dikdiks, Giraffes, Gazelles, Gnus, Hartebeests, Impalas, Klipspringers, Buffaloes, Hyraxes, Zebras, Hyenas, Jackals, Mongooses, Baboons, Monkeys and Porcupines amongst others.  The park has historically been an important home for the rare lammergeyer vultures. From 11am, visit the gorges for 1 hour, capture beautiful panoramas of the gorge's small thin depressions of land mass where you can walk underneath.  Around 12pm return the bike at the gate, on the way visit the Maasai community. Then at 1pm for Lunch Naivasha Fishermans camp(own expense). At 2pm, enjoy a relaxing boat ride on Lake Naivasha where you can see some of the local wildlife which includes hippos, buffalo, fish eagles, pelicans and much more for 1 hour. End of the tour drive back to Nairobi arriving around 6pm

personal insurance, visas, items of a personal nature, drinks. Rock climbing can be arranged on the day for around $15 per person, depending on how long you climb for. It is also possible to ride horses in the park, with prior arrangement (costs around $20 per hour per horse).

Trip Overview.
Enjoy an Africa adventure luxury holiday: 8-day Discover Kenya Safaris tour is one of the most rewarding packages for your Active Kenya adventure Safari. Tour takes you through the central part of the country, passing through the agriculture rich Highlands to the semi-arid area of Samburu. The Samburu ecosystem allows you to marvel at the amazing and rare species only found in dis region – the Samburu Special Five.
You’ll then proceed to Aberdare National Park where you will appreciate the rain forest with its wildlife. You will be staying at a lodge with a water hole in front of the lounge and the animals come to water and also cool themselves. The next prime destination will be Lake Nakuru National Park, a bird watchers paradise and also a safe haven for some endangered species such as the rhinos and the Rothschild Giraffes. Naivasha has its own share of attractions and adventure activities to indulge in. The Hell’s Gate National Park, the Lake Naivasha, and flower farm visit among others. The highlight of your 8 days discovers Kenya adventure safari is Masai Mara known for its wealth in wildlife.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Nairobi – Samburu
After breakfast depart for a drive north passing through the heart of central Kenya to Samburu Game Reserve with a brief stop at the Equator where you may do a simple water test to ascertain the magnetic effect on the northern & southern sphere. Continue to Samburu set in the rugged semi-arid northern region with spectacular scenic landscape. Arrive in time for lunch at you're preferred choice of accommodation and some leisure time. Later in the afternoon head out on an exciting game-viewing drive thereafter return for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Samburu National Reserve
Full day in Samburu Game Reserve with morning and afternoon game viewing drives, in search of animals found only north of the equator such as long necked Gerenuk, Grevy’s Zebra, Beisa Oryx and the Somali Ostrich. The Ewaso Nyiro River dotted with doom palms, acacia and giant fig trees meanders through the reserve. Dinner and overnight at you're lodge.

Day 3: Samburu – Aberdare National Park
After an early breakfast, embark on your drive as you head to Nanyuki. On your way you might be lucky to catch a glimse of animals that may have eluded you. Drive to Aberdare Country Club near Nyeri town. Arrive in time for lunch at you're lodge and some leisure time, later in the afternoon you will be driven to to the Ark where you stay for one night at the tree hotel wifin the heart of the Aberdare national park where you game view from the balconies of your lodge . Dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Aberdare – Nakuru
After breakfast you will be transferred to Aberdare Country Club where you will join you're safari driver to proceed on your trip to Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive in time for lunch. After a brief rest, proceed on an afternoon game drive before returning to your camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Nakuru – Naivasha
Wake up early and after a cup of coffee embark on an early morning game drive. Latter return to the camp for breakfast and check out. Drive out of the park as you head towards Naivasha, to reach there in time for lunch and thereafter head out to the Lake Naivasha for a boat ride around the lake. If time allows you can take a walk with the animals at the Crescent Island.

Day 6: Naivasha – Masai Mara
After an early breakfast depart for the World’s famous Maasai Mara Game Reserve.
Arrive in time for lunch at your camp. Spend the early afternoon at leisure and latter embark on a late afternoon game viewing drive. All meals and overnight at the camp.

Day 7: Masai Mara National Reserve
Full day in Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game viewing drives in search of the ‘big five’. Masai Mara is the northern most extension of the Serengeti Plains and one of the richest wildlife Game Reserves. It is home to the awesome black-manned lion, the elusive leopard, stately giraffes, and vast bulk of elephants, rhino, thundering herds of zebra, migrating wildebeest and numerous other plains game. Return to your lodge/camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 8: Masai Mara – Nairobi
